University of Udine - UNIUD
Established in 1978, the University of Udine (UNIUD) has 15 635 students, 646 professors and researchers, 160 research fellows, 542 technical and administrative staff, 239 PhD students and 313 laboratories. UNIUD encompasses eight departments, which are involved in international projects and manage either research or teaching activities.
Thanks to its geographical position and its pluri-language vocation, UNIUD has been developing a policy of internationalization aimed at favoring the mobility of academic staff and students through the participation to the ERASMUS+ project and by signing agreements with European and non-European universities specifically oriented to the implementation of double degree courses and to the cooperation in the field of technology transfer and education: UNIUD has now 408 international partners, 13 double degrees and a mobility ratio of 3.3%.
In the last few years, UNIUD further strengthened its activities in the field of internationalization by enhancing its multidisciplinary skills and by seizing the opportunities offered by European calls for the financing of mobility projects with non-European countries and European Alliances.

Develop research also to qualify teaching and knowledge transfer, in collaboration with Italian and foreign institutions, in order to foster the development of students’ critical, learning and professional skills and the civil, cultural, economic and social growth of the territory
